Ellen is an operations strategist and systems leader who specializes in helping dog daycare and boarding businesses build the structure they need to scale and actually run without the owner holding everything together.
​
Her background is specific and her experience is direct. Ellen worked in corporate operations for a multi-site pet care company, managing multi-site operations, opening and scaling five new facilities in two years, and leading or assisting the project management behind each launch. She developed and launched new service lines, including board and train programs as well as dog park bars, and built the training and coaching infrastructure that supported both frontline staff and facility managers. That work runs alongside nearly a decade in animal rescue and welfare, giving her an operational and animal welfare lens that most business consultants simply don't have.

She has seen these businesses from the inside starting as kennel tech and working her way up. And she knows exactly where they break down and what it takes to fix them.

Ellen founded Rogue Ops Consulting named after Rogue, her dog and constant companion of more than eleven years. Rogue has been present for every stage of her career, a steady reminder that resilience, loyalty, and consistency are what actually build something lasting. Those same principles drive the way Ellen works with every client.
